Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav has recently come under legal scrutiny after sharing a video on social media that purportedly shows him receiving a police escort in Jaipur. Authorities have refuted this claim and have filed a case against Yadav, alleging that the video was misleading and aimed at damaging the reputation of the Rajasthan Police.

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Yadav uploaded a video on Monday in which he is seen traveling in a car driven by Krishnavardhan, the son of former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas. In the video, a police vehicle is seen approaching from behind, leading Yadav to claim that they were being escorted by the police. During their conversation, Krishnavardhan mentions that the police vehicles would change as they passed through different jurisdictions.

However, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph clarified that no such escort was provided to Yadav. He stated, “An FIR has been registered against him in the matter.” Additional Commissioner of Police Rameshwar Singh also emphasized that police security is only provided based on established protocols and that no escort was assigned to Yadav.

The FIR against Yadav was registered at the cyber police station under charges of allegedly sharing a “fake video” that tarnishes the reputation of the Rajasthan Police. The video also showed Yadav’s car passing through a toll booth without paying any fee, followed by the police vehicle.

Former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas distanced himself and his son from the controversy, stating that neither of them had requested a police escort. He said, “Elvish Yadav has often visited me, and as a politician, I meet many people. My government is not in power, so I do not know who arranged for a police vehicle or why it was there.”

This incident has sparked a broader discussion about the responsibilities of influencers and the potential consequences of sharing misleading content. As the investigation continues, it serves as a reminder of the importance of authenticity and integrity in the digital age.
